Renowned in the region for his expertise in both aesthetic and surgical dentistry, Dr. Shenai is celebrated for his friendly, relaxed demeanor, and his patients deeply appreciate his patience and kindness
Educational Background and Early Career
Dr. Shenai earned his dental degree in India in 2004. After spending a year practicing alongside his father, he made the strategic decision to move to Australia to further his education in aesthetic, rehabilitative, and implant dentistry.
Journey to Rochester
In 2008, Dr. Shenai moved to Rochester and began working as an associate dentist under Dr. Daniel Lavery. During this time, he started envisioning the creation of a premier dental clinic that would cater to discerning clients. In 2011, Dr. Shenai and his wife acquired Dr. Lavery’s practice, and in 2016, they expanded their reach by establishing the Moama Dental Clinic to better serve the growing needs of the Echuca-Moama region.
Advanced Training and Specializations
To hone his surgical skills, Dr. Shenai completed a fellowship in Implant Dentistry (FCII) in California, USA, and became a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). In 2022, he furthered his expertise by completing an implantology course under the mentorship of the esteemed Dr. Kenneth Lee in Sydney. Additionally, Dr. Shenai holds a diploma in Implantology from the prestigious Jaume University in Spain. His qualification as a phlebotomist allows him to use patients’ own growth factors and stem cells in surgeries, enhancing outcomes.

Dr. Shenai excels in implant and wisdom teeth surgeries and is passionate about full mouth rehabilitation using crowns, bridges, and implants. He is also trained in orthodontics and favors using clear aligners to correct misaligned teeth.

Academic Excellence and Professional Journey
Ketki's academic journey began in India, where she graduated at the top of her class with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Mumbai. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, she moved to Melbourne and completed her Master of Science at RMIT, further cementing her reputation as a brilliant academician.
After marrying Dr. Anup Shenai, Ketki developed a keen interest in dentistry. Recognizing the need for more dental professionals in rural areas and motivated by her desire to learn, she enrolled in La Trobe University, Bendigo's Bachelor of Oral Health program. Balancing her studies, caring for a young family, and working at the clinic was challenging, but Ketki’s determination and hard work led her to achieve academic success. In 2014, she began her professional career at Rochester as an oral health therapist.

He is well-versed in the Nobel Biocare and Biohorizon systems and has been a part of the teaching faculty for rehabilitation with dental implants. Dr. Griva Parekh

Introducing Griva Parekh, she graduated from mumbai in 2009 and practising ever since. She’s passionate about helping patients improve their oral health and achieve beautiful smiles. She loves to build personal relationships with her patients and treat the person, not just the tooth. Griva’s dedication towards her continuous education is evident from her extensive training in advanced implant procedures starting from a PG diploma in implantology at chanavaz international institute, to courses on Regenerative Periodontics, sinus grafting Soft tissue management, etc across the globe, including France, Switzerland, California, Spain, Israel and many more.
She has vast experience of more than a in treating complex cases, her expertise and passion for the field she continues to contribute to the advancement of education towards dental implants.
As committed towards the public dental health she has served as an associate dentist at various government hospitals and her frequent volunteer work to create dental health awareness and provide essential dental care among people of various age group in addition to her private practise.
After practising for 13 years in India she moved to Australia Thereafter, working as an associate dentist in private practises in Rochester and Moama dental clinic Griva is deeply committed to patient health, focusing on delivering comprehensive and well- rounded treatments. Her combination of clinical experience,ongoing education and community services underscores her dedication to improving oral health outcomes for all her patients
Dr Simran Ritchie
(BSc, BHScD, MDent)
Dr Simran Ritchie completed a Bachelor of Science from Monash University. Instilled with a lifelong passion to help people, she furthered her studies with a Bachelor of Dentistry with Masters at Latrobe University.
As a Dentist, her focus is on providing people with the best experience possible during their visits. Her calming and bubbly personality helps her patients feel relaxed and comfortable under her care. Having experienced dental anxiety growing up, she understands the concerns her patients may have during visits and so is able to work with them to alleviate any stresses they may feel.
She takes great care in explaining her patients' oral health status and all treatment options they may require, to empower them to make the best choice for their health.
With a plethora of experience working in regional communities under her belt, her passion to increase the accessibility of dental care in regional communities led her to join the Moama and Rochester Dental Clinics.
In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her loved ones and exploring different areas for adventures with her partner.
